As well as playing the trumpet, Darren is a capable pianist and singer (baritone). He gained grade 8 piano with Stephen Dandridge, and grade 5 voice with Lord Gawain Douglas. You can hear him playing the
Adagio (464.6 KB)
from Beethoven's "Sonata Pathetique".
Darren's other interests to music include outdoor activites. In particular, his family enjoy skiing and have two apartments in Courchevel, France, that are let every ski season and also in the summer months.

A keen runner and cyclist, Darren runs short/middle distance races for charity.
Darren will be participating in the Brett Triathlon on the 14th August!
